While we don’t always have partner openings, if you are a highly experienced and qualified CFO with a minimum of 10 years of experience with both large and mid-size companies, we want to talk to you.  When filling partner vacancies, we look for enthusiastic and passionate entrepreneurs to join our team who want to deliver value to their clients.   

Our partners join SeatonHill for many reasons. Some enjoy the opportunity for stability by continuing to make a difference with a few clients on a permanent basis and some enjoy the flexibility of working part-time. Some like the opportunity to work with multiple clients 5+ days a week. Others enjoy the benefit of being independent, but with the marketing resources and team of a large firm. 

However, partners tend to stay with SeatonHill because of our collegial “Partner-Helping-Partner” culture. We like each other, and we help each other, not only as sounding boards for our ideas, but also with technical, industry specific, or in other experienced advisory matters, and by maintaining a high level of consistent effort networking to insure a continuous flow of leads and opportunities for all partners. We all are responsible to ensure that this culture continues to thrive. 
Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a CFO with both a large and mid-size companies. CPA is not required. 
  • Highly personable with exceptional communication skills – verbal, listening, and writing.
  • Able to lead and develop a finance/accounting organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and egos in a supporting role.

Other qualifications that would be desirable:
  • At least 5 years working history in the local business and professional community
  • CPA (active or inactive)
  • Have raised capital beyond traditional bank lines of credit – equity, mezzanine financing, SBA, sale/leasebacks, and internal (e.g. working capital management, asset sales)
  • Worked for larger enterprises ($500 million annual sales and up)
  • International experience – accounting practices, foreign currency translations, M&A
  • Worked with private equity investors
