Kim Sheehy joined SeatonHill in 2020 as a seasoned Senior Financial Executive with more than 30 years of success across the technology, data center, communications, SaaS, software development, and REIT industries. Her broad areas of expertise include systems implementation, financial modeling, strategic planning, M&A, spin-outs, IPOs, investor relations, private equity, financial analysis, accounting, tax, and capital markets.
Currently, Ms. Sheehy is an independent board member and holds the position of Audit Committee Chair for the public data center company Switch, Inc. Switch is a $4 Billion market cap high-growth technology infrastructure company that builds and operates multi-tenant data center properties for over 800 customers, including large technology and digital media companies, cloud and managed service providers, financial institutions, and telecommunications providers.
Over the past 5 years, serving as Chief Financial Officer of private equity-backed entities, she led acquisition due diligence, integration of services from acquired entities, implemented accounting and reporting systems, accounting processes and controls, created annual operating budgets and long term strategic plans, and secured bank debt and private funding.
This followed three years as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer with data center developer CyrusOne, leading corporate finance, business strategy, and human resources, contributing to the company’s successful IPO and subsequent equity offerings. During this time, she defined and executed growth strategies, long-term business plans, capital structure, leverage targets, funding sources, and dividend strategies.
Before CyrusOne, she spent 16 years with integrated communications provider Cincinnati Bell, rising from Managing Director of Corporate Tax to VP of Finance, Investor Relations, and Treasurer. She began her career as a Senior Staff Auditor and Tax Manager with Ernst & Young. Kim holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Public Accountant. She was named CFO of the Year by the Dallas Business Journal in 2013 for her work related to the CyrusOne IPO and the establishment of its corporate headquarters in Dallas.
