Marion Flores joined SeatonHill in 2010, bringing nearly 40 years of strategic and operating financial management to SeatonHill and its clients.
Marion began her financial career in corporate lending at Citibank in NYC and First RepublicBank in Dallas, now Bank of America. In the mid-1970’s she joined Booz Allen’s commercial banking practice, leading strategic planning for Chase, First National Bank of Midland, Hong Kong Shanghai Bank, and Bank of Nova Scotia while also implementing budgeting processes at Arkansas Louisiana Gas, providing portfolio strategy to LTV and Trailways, and business strategy to various client middle-market subsidiaries.
As CFO of a leading middle-market media services company, Marion led finance, accounting, IT, human resources, facilities, and a public relations subsidiary. After negotiating the sale to a French holding company, she joined the Board, continued leading all the support functions, and consulted to the parent on their financial processes. Subsequently, Marion initiated the first CFO function at a rapidly growing customer loyalty company and led a high-tech start-up through its B round and monetization sale to a public company.
Marion is a former president of the Dallas chapter of the International Women’s Forum, has led several Dallas non-profits, and currently chairs the Finance Committee of the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences.
Marion holds an MBA degree in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA, magna cum laude, from Wellesley College, where she is a founding member of the Business Leadership Council and past Treasurer of the Alumnae Association.
