Jerry is a Partner on the Mountain team with SeatonHill. He is an operational Chief Financial Officer with more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing, technology, engineering services, software, and financial payment and cash management services. He has guided companies through growth, capital raises, an IPO, acquisitions, and operational change. Jerry’s expertise spans strategic planning, treasury, accounting, analytics, and enterprise systems. He has helped raise more than $700 million through debt and equity arrangements and worked with boards, investors, lenders, and executive teams to improve financial visibility and support expansion.
Key Experience
Food Technology & Precision Fermentation Company: As Chief Financial Officer of a food technology and manufacturing company, Jerry led finance, treasury, planning, risk management, IT, and analytics. He transformed systems, processes, and reporting, improved operating and financial visibility across business functions and products, established forecasting processes, and negotiated an expanded $10 million credit facility for working capital.
Technology Engineering Services Company: As Chief Financial Officer of an engineering company serving the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Jerry oversaw global finance, treasury, planning, risk management, HR, and analytics. He strengthened reporting, improved ERP solution effectiveness, championed Business Intelligence and analytics initiatives, and negotiated expanded credit capacity to support growth.
Payment Technology Services and Manufacturing Company: As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer, he led all finance, accounting, treasury, pricing, sourcing, data analytics, and IT disciplines for a growing manufacturing and services organization. Jerry built the structure and controls needed to go public. He raised $172 million through the IPO, negotiated a $125 million restructured debt facility and working capital line, and implemented enterprisewide finance, ERP, and business intelligence systems, and developed tax, investment, and cash management strategies to support liquidity and manage risk. Jerry maintained relationships with investors, lenders, and the board while building the company’s finance, IT, sourcing, and procurement functions.
Equipment and Component Manufacturing Company: As Chief Financial Officer of an equipment and component manufacturer and engineering services company, Jerry built finance practices, systems, and processes for IPO readiness. He raised $25 million in a Series A strategic private offering and more than $5 million through common stock placements, while arranging debt and leasing facilities. The manufacturing capabilities included a specialized semiconductor fabrication site.
Global Technology Company: As division CFO at a global technology manufacturing, services, and software company, Jerry managed finance for a business unit with annual revenue above $800 million. He led worldwide strategic financial planning, supported investment and M&A analysis for all business units using an investment portfolio management process, helped launch and acquire international subsidiaries, and managed a business unit spin-off.
