Executive Profile
Robert is a Partner in the Houston office of SeatonHill. Mr. Wesolek is an accomplished professional with proven expertise in the structuring and implementation of mergers and acquisitions, go-public transactions, complex financings, public company reporting, infrastructure assessment, transaction architecture, and executive management. In his more than 35 years of experience, Robert has successfully worked with mature and startup companies implementing strategic, people-oriented leadership, skilled team building, problem solving, and results-oriented management.
Key Experience
Oil & Gas: During the period from 2007 to 2021, Robert acted as Director and Chief Financial Officer for 4 publically traded oil & gas exploration/development entities, holding assets situated in 5 international jurisdictions; The Pacific Hunt Energy Group (2013-2020), EFLO Energy (2011-2015), Holloman Energy Corporation (2009-2014), and Strongbow Resources Inc. (2007 – 2013).
Software Development & Manufacturing: During the period from 1996 through 2006, Robert acted as Director and Chief Financial Officer for 3 software development entities: The Navigates Corporation (1998-2004), Citadel Security Software Inc., publically traded (1996-2001), and Kent March Ltd. (1987-1996), and one publicly traded private label manufacturer and wholesale distributor of chocolate products - House of Brussels Chocolates, Inc. (2004-2006).
Mr. Wesolek played a pivotal or primary role in each of these entities’ mergers, asset acquisitions, go-public strategies, accounting and reporting management, regulatory compliance, and financing strategies.
Selected Accomplishments:
Successfully engineered reverse mergers and/or public status for six (6) corporations with historical market valuations approximating $500 million.
Extensive experience in international transaction structuring and negotiation.
Among the principals responsible for the acquisition, stabilization and initial exploration of approximately 12 million acres of oil and gas property located in 5 jurisdictions worldwide having approximate aggregate NPV values in excess of $2.5 Billion.
Successfully engineered and participated in capital raises totaling more than $175 Million.
Among the principals responsible for the development and publishing of more than a dozen successful software products with combined installed base of more than 1 million users.
Primarily responsible for accounting, financial statement preparation, SEC reporting, transaction flow processes and internal control procedures for each of four corporations with cash flows ranging from $3 million to $14 million annually.
Planned and implemented first of its kind “Internal Control Reliance” inventory audit for multi-billion dollar oilfield tool manufacturer.
Engineered and managed successful International software development and redistribution relationship with PII, India’s then second largest industrial consortium.
Inventor and U.S. Patent Holder of network infrastructure patent entitled, “Method and Apparatus for Data Channelization and Hardware-based control of Networks.” – June 1997
