Executive Profile

Jack is a Partner on the Midwest team of SeatonHill. He is a finance and opera-tions executive with more than 15 years of experience supporting private equity and family-owned organizations. His background combines financial leader-ship with general management responsibility across manufacturing business-es, including industrial equipment, chemicals, packaging, medical films, and fasteners. He has led finance teams, managed multi-location operations, and worked with international ownership groups through acquisitions, turnarounds, and systems implementations. His experience includes strengthening reporting and controls, implementing ERP systems, managing banking relationships, and guiding significant capital projects. He has also developed performance measures that help teams understand operating results, control costs, and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Experience

Pharmaceutical & Government-Sector Equipment Manufacturer: Promoted from Director of Finance to Managing Director of a U.S. subsidiary of an international equipment manufacturer, Jack managed 115 employees across New Jersey and Wisconsin operations representing $60 million in equipment sales. He also led the company’s first GAAP audit, coordinating with RSM and KPMG in Switzerland.

Precast Concrete Equipment Manufacturer: As General Manager and Chief Financial Officer for the Americas operations of a Finnish equipment manufacturer, Jack led financial and operational improvements in a turnaround environment. He rebuilt customer relationships across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, regaining more than $500,000 in business. Jack rolled out a new service platform, increasing service and parts revenue by $100,000 per month. He also coordinated with the Finnish help desk to reduce customer service lead times from one to two weeks to 24 hours. Jack improved financial reporting, supported a Sage ERP implementation, and strengthened inventory accuracy.

Family-Owned Medical Films Manufacturer: As Chief Financial Officer of a $20 million manufacturer, Jack managed financial reporting, banking relationships, debt covenants, and commercial insurance. He oversaw a plant relocation and the buildout of medical-grade production rooms and offices, helping manage the financial impact of a $5 million investment in facilities and equipment. He also introduced departmental KPIs using Power BI and Excel and reduced annual insurance costs by $60,000 while improving coverage.

Private Equity-Owned Contract Chemical Manufacturer: As Finance Director, Jack led a 10-person finance team during a private equity acquisition. He managed budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial oversight while leading an SAP implementation across departments. Through training and process improvements, Jack reduced the monthly close from 10 days to six and served as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.

Multi-Plant Food Packaging Manufacturer: As Controller and later Regional Controller, Jack led finance and administrative teams across four plants within a $100 million packaging business undergoing private equity acquisition and growth. He implemented Syspro and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems, established financial controls, and developed operating scorecards that helped reduce inventory by $400,000. As General Manager of a small converting plant, Jack introduced a formal production schedule that contributed to a 40% sales increase, totaling $2 million.
