Mr. Leemans is a versatile international corporate finance executive successful at building solid business practices while driving economic stability, growth, and revenue. He has demonstrated success in leading finance teams, leveraging his dynamic leadership skills and diverse industry knowledge. Rudy is exceptionally adept at working with all levels of internal and external management to ensure corporate and client buy-in. He also has a keen ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives while mastering deadlines and budget expectations.
Key Experience
Consulting Company: As a Senior Finance Executive Consultant, Rudy provided turn-key solutions to CEO’s & CFO’s nationwide in areas of finance, accounting, FP&A, IT systems implementations and platform expansions, business planning, budgeting & forecasting, M&A. He designed and implemented management reporting & KPI processes that were delivered to stakeholders via an automated BI platform. Rudy also articulated the value of various product divisions, business opportunities, and developed tactical plans to achieve those.
Bovine Biotech Company: As CFO, Rudy governed all fiduciary, financial, and HR aspects of the VC-owned bovine biotech company with a significant international footprint. He played an instrumental role in the company’s successful and sold-out Series B equity raise. Rudy transformed the Finance & Accounting function across the Holding’s portfolio companies. He also implemented significant Internal Control procedures as the company emerged from its startup environment. Rudy reduced Working Capital by more than 50% on a relative basis while revenues posted a higher than 70% CAGR.
Home Accessories Manufacturing Company: As CEO/CFO, Rudy governed all fiduciary, financial, and business aspects of the company. He improved profits by streamlining operations and negotiating competitive vendor contracts while optimizing working capital. Rudy also implemented a BI system that delivered daily transparency into the revenue and gross margin results. He formulated a 5-year strategic business plan designed to return revenue growth to the company.
Global Engineering, Repair, and Logistics Company: As CFO International, Rudy controlled the financial leadership and oversight of the international operations with revenues of about $300M (US), generated through various global subsidiaries. He oversaw the global operations, which included almost 750 employees. Rudy also managed all financial and fiduciary aspects of the international operations, daily sales reporting, corporate financial consolidation, budgeting & forecasting, international treasury & currency risk mitigation, and international tax planning. He provided financial leadership for the acquisition of a foreign competitor, doubling the size of the international footprint.
